As a Lead Programmer, you will be hands-on with guiding and supporting your team in coding features across multiple programming specialisms within our new gaming project.
Core responsibilities include:
- Guide and support team members in coding features across several programming specialisms.
- Drive performance, plan, and prioritise project work in collaboration with production and development teams.
- Support programmers to meet design and technical needs of the project.
- Keep the project focused by setting priorities and driving progress while fostering a stable, inclusive structure.
Qualifications:
- Evidence of day-to-day team management and team development experience.
- Broad knowledge of multiple areas of game development, with the ability to collaborate effectively across these areas (e.g., gameplay, engine, online, animation, tools, or physics).
- Experience in C++ development within console gaming.
- Experience working with a large game codebase, its modules, middleware, and associated pipeline.
- Familiarity with project planning lifecycle.
