Ubiquity is seeking a People Advocate for our PH Offices. This position is responsible for acting as an advisor on specific areas of employment laws, mediate on employee disputes, represent the company on external mediation and to support the HR Business Partners Group as an expert consultant on all employee and labor relations issues within the assigned business unit.
The ideal candidate will work at both strategic and operational level to manage various employee policies that affect people at work.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the point of contact for employee relations, conduct, and/or compliance concerns;
- Interviews employees to gather information to facilitate resolution of the concern;
- Assesses the nature and severity of the complaint and either provides coaching resources or conducts an investigation;
- Partners with Legal, HRBPs, managers, and other key stakeholders to conduct a complete and impartial investigation.
- Ensures recommendations are in alignment with company policies and practices.
- Partners with HRBPs on performance issues raised by leaders and confers with HRBP to provide support and recommendation on how to manage situations.
- Reviews all performance documentation before it is delivered to ensure consistency and completeness.
- Analyzes employee relations case trends and in partnership with Human Resources Business Partners.
- Provides workplace-related recommendations/insights directly related to an investigation in accordance with company policy and practice
- Manages and updates HR policies and processes.
- Work effectively with compliance, legal, HR, security, and other partners to foster trust and accountability.
- Remains current with new, evolving ER challenges across a variety of processes and proactively recommends solutions to manage them.
- Review internal processes and make recommendations for improvements; drive solutions that are compliant while supporting business objectives and goals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Bachelor\’s Degree in any specialization is required
- Must have at least 3 years of work experience specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Experience specializing in Employee Labor Relations is a plus. Exposure in handling LR for a BPO or Call Center company is a plus
- Engagement and Partnership Background is highly desired
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
- Ability to support remote work for other Ubiquity PH Sites in relation to ELR Concerns
- Ability to work onsite and on a graveyard shift schedule
