We are looking for a Principal / Senior Strategy Consultant for one of our customers who has expertise in:

  • Domain Expertise: 8–12+ years of experience within Commodity, Gas, or Power trading (via major energy companies, trading houses, investment banks, or specialized management consultancies).
  • Trading Lifecycle Mastery: A deep understanding of how Commodities, Gas and Power markets operate, including scheduling/logistics, grid/pipeline constraints, risk metrics (VaR, MtM), and portfolio optimization.
  • Digital & AI Fluency: Proven experience evaluating or deploying digital tools, solutions, SaaS platforms and AI/ML models, GenAI, LLMs, or predictive analytics within a trading or financial services environment. Strong understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) as enablers for AI. Familiarity with how AI interacts with traditional ETRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro).
  • Consulting Background: Exceptional structured thinking, diagnostic skills, and the ability to articulate a clear digital transformation narrative to non-technical stakeholders.

Employment type: Contract. It would be hybrid working within London only.
