Roles & Responsibilities:

  • We are hiring a Digital Engineer to join a Market Data & Digital Rights team within a leading Commercial & Investment Banking environment.
  • This role focuses on building AI-powered solutions for digital rights management, document intelligence, and market data discovery.
  • Build AI-driven solutions to extract, process, and manage data from documents (PDF, Word, scanned images).
  • Apply GenAI, LLMs, RAG, OCR, NLP, and ML to structure unstructured data.
  • Develop and optimise Python-based AI pipelines for accuracy and scale.
  • Work with RDF data and SPARQL to query graph-based datasets.
  • Validate data contracts and usage rights to ensure compliance.
  • Query and manage data using Oracle SQL and ElasticSearch.
  • Contribute to AI-powered analytics dashboards and search capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams.
  • Document architectures, processes, and support Agile delivery (2-week sprints).

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI frameworks, Agentic AI.
  • Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and search systems.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, model tuning, and evaluation.
  • Experience with document parsing (OCR, NLP, ML).
  • Strong skills in RDF & SPARQL.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and ElasticSearch (NoSQL DSL).
  • Exposure to AWS services (Neptune, Glue) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MCP server technology.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
