Responsibilities and Duties:
- Worked upon ASE 12.5 and above version and Replication Server 12.6 and above.
- Should have excellent communication skills.
- Creation of Devices, Databases, Segments.
- Backups of databases & logs.
- User account management.
- Performing Recovery of suspect databases.
- Refresh of Databases in replication as well as non-replication environment.
- Transaction log management.
- Handling of jobs failures.
- Troubleshooting Database error and performance Tuning.
- Replication Server monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting includes check for the replication configuration, threads down, stable device full, RSSD log full, stop and restart threads, repagent and repservers.
