Scope of services:

Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Specialist to support day-to-day activities within the Firewall support team.

Firewall Operations & Support:

  • Provide operational support for Check Point Firewalls, including incident and problem resolution
  • Support in the diagnosis and resolution of complex network security issues across production environments

Change Implementation & Platform Maintenance:

  • Manage request backlog (Jira) and raise changes (ServiceNow)
  • Implement and/or review Firewall policy changes and NAT updates to policy
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and life cycle management
  • Track delivery of operational tasks, improvements, and remediation activities

Security, Risk & Compliance:

  • Support audit, compliance, and vulnerability management activities
  • Produce and update operational runbooks and knowledge articles (Confluence)

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Support strong communication between shift teams
  • Work with network, security, and application teams to deliver services effectively
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives where appropriate
