About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent front line services across Gloucestershire. Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company.

Reporting to the Fleet Workshop Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health Safety regulations and procedures.

You will need:

  • Full valid, UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent).
  • City and Guilds full craft certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working and carrying out inspections, servicing and repairs on a mixed fleet of vehicles and a demonstrable stable employment history within the industry.
  • Prepared to undertake additional training to support a diverse fleet as required including technological advances.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
