Apprentice HGV Vehicle Technician £8.00 per hour - £12.71 per hour 40 hours per week 4 Year Apprenticeship Position.
Providing excellent front-line services across Gloucestershire, Cotswold, Forest of Dean and West Oxfordshire, Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding local‑authority‑owned company. We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our hard‑working, highly successful team. Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, the Apprentice will be trained and assist with inspections, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGV vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with compliance and health & safety regulations.
This is an apprenticeship vacancy; you will be working towards a level 3 qualification and, on successful completion of the programme including attainment of the relevant grade, you will be able to apply for a permanent position within Ubico, if one is available.
You will need:
- Dedication and perseverance needed to fulfil full term of apprenticeship.
- Physically fit to work under vehicles and move around the workshop.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks allocated.
- Ability to read and follow basic information/instructions.
