This is a strategic and high-impact position that serves as a key enabler for the Enterprise and Global Delivery Partners (GDP) department for UK & Ireland. The Operations Analytics Manager will be responsible for provisioning strategic reporting and deep-dive analysis of our operations. A unique and critical aspect of this role is providing advanced analytics consulting to our top strategic partners (large restaurant chains), helping them grow their businesses, optimise their operations, and maximise their partnership value. Critically, this role provides excellent exposure to senior leadership and external executive teams through direct analytical work supporting our most strategically important brands.
The successful candidate will be a technical, business-savvy problem-solver who can translate complex data into actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Reporting Ownership: Own, maintain, and continuously improve robust, high-quality operational and performance reporting dashboards and tools.
- Performance Analysis: Prepare and present strategic performance reviews for senior leadership and external partners (e.g., Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)).
- Deep Dives: Lead analytical deep dives on key strategic themes, such as promotional efficiency, client profitability, and operational bottlenecks.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Fulfil ad-hoc data and analysis requests, providing timely and accurate insights to support immediate business decisions.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, execute, and rigorously analyse A/B tests and other experiments across critical operational levers and commercial initiatives (e.g., promotions, incentives) to determine incrementality and drive optimisation.
- Client Consulting: Serve as an analytics consultant to strategic partners, leveraging internal data to provide tailored recommendations for operational improvement and business growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a similar position.
- Advanced SQL: Demonstrated advanced proficiency in writing complex, efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Data Visualisation: Extensive experience with major data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or similar).
- Business Intelligence / Reporting: Strong foundational experience in Business Intelligence and reporting, including advanced skills in spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) for modelling and analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively manage and communicate with senior-level stakeholders, building trust and influencing data-driven decisions.
- Prioritisation & Time Management: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing requests, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex analytical findings to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting: Previous experience in a consulting role or a highly matrixed organisation. Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
- Data Science: Understanding of data science concepts, modelling, or statistical analysis techniques.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in a programming language used for data analysis (Python/R).
- Industry Experience: Experience working with operational data within the logistics, e-commerce, or food delivery industries.
