Laboratory Technician

Our client has a exciting opportunity for a permanent Laboratory Technician to provide practical support within their dedicated Serology department in West Lothian.

Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8.45am-5.00pm (there may be a requirement to work a Saturday as required)

This position would suit either a graduate with a Biological Science Degree (or similar subject) and looking for an opportunity to gain experience or a candidate with similar Laboratory work experience.

You will be involved in carrying out routine testing using ELISA’s in a high throughput laboratory ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 regulations using standard operating procedures. A good level of computer skills and competent using Microsoft Office is also required.

Required Skills/Lab experience:

• Degree within Biological Science or similar subject
