About the Role
The Growth segment at Uber for Business is responsible for expanding and deepening relationships across a portfolio of Uber for Business customers. This team focuses on driving revenue through expansion, cross-sell, and increased adoption across existing customers. We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Mid Market Growth Account Executives - focussed on clients with 1000 - 5000 employees. This role will be responsible not only for driving revenue across an existing book of business, but also for building the operating foundation of the team, including account segmentation, territory design, and performance management. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-potential segment and unlock meaningful growth across the customer base.
What You'll Do
- Directly recruit, manage, and mentor a sales team responsible for growing Mid Market clients on the U4B platform, focusing on upsell and cross-sell motions.
- Responsible for establishing a customer obsessed organization and developing and operationalizing strategy to achieve critical metrics.
- Engage and align effectively in C-level meetings with Mid Market clients, actively listen to understand business objectives and challenges, and align our solutions to accomplish partner goals.
- Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline, own & achieve sales goals on a quarterly basis, and mentor Growth Account Executives on strategies to reach their goals.
- Establish an effective partnership with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
What You'll Have
- At least 1-2 years of sales management experience.
- 5+ years of Sales experience.
- Strong track record of overachieving sales targets.
- Experience hiring and coaching a sales team selling into corporates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management, and data analysis experience.
- Desire to take initiative; thrive on change and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent at building and motivating strong performing teams.
- Happy to shift from strategic thinking to diving in and supporting implementation.
- Highly curious and a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative environment.
