About the Role

This role sits within the UK SMB team and is responsible for driving Uber Eats' long-term commercial relationships with some of our top local favourite brands across the Chinese Category restaurants in the UK! As the Commercial Account Manager, you'll be managing a portfolio of accounts (50% of them will be Chinese Category, 50% will be non-Chinese Category) collaborating with partners to help them grow their business sustainably, whilst delivering the best experience to our users, with the goal of making Uber Eats their most loved delivery platform.

This role calls for a combination of relationship management, commercial acumen, operational excellence and problem solving.

  • Portfolio Growth: Own the growth and profitability of a restaurant portfolio (50% Chinese category, 50% non-Chinese) across Leeds and the wider UK.
  • Commercial Strategy: Lead commercial negotiations and design growth plans covering marketing, menu optimization, and operations.
  • Relationship Management: Build proactive outreach strategies and maintain strong communication via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to track weekly performance signals, prioritize initiatives, and build tools that maximize account KPIs.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with internal ops teams to improve user and courier experiences, ensuring order accuracy and speed.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with leadership to standardize best practices and scale processes for mid-sized SMB accounts.

Languages: Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as a professional working proficiency in English.

Experience: 1-2+ years in a client-facing commercial or sales role, with a track record of outperforming metrics-based goals.

Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel/G-Sheets; ability to translate data and financial, strategic, or legal concepts into complex deals.

Strong verbal and written skills, backed by a professional executive presence.
