Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and key suppliers to collaborate and identify sourcing activity and opportunities that drive performance and results.
- Supplier and spend data analysis to provide insight for procurement challenges, strategies, and plans.
- Business partner with budget holders and contract managers to determine requirements and recommend strategies that enable business objectives and unlock commercial value.
- Design and execute strategic sourcing processes, including identifying potential suppliers, managing the tender process, negotiating agreements, and documenting internal recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Project Management to plan and measure procurement activities.
- Liaise with Legal, Safety, and Finance stakeholders to ensure diligence, compliance, risk mitigation, and budget control in third-party supply selection and contract management.
- Support Heads of Department and contract managers with effective key supplier relationship management.
- Support the company’s sustainability agenda regarding third-party goods and services supply.
- Ensure auditable contractual document control processes, including accurate contract database and supplier lifecycle management.
- Assist in developing and maintaining effective teamwork within departments and offices.
- Provide and promote the highest level of customer service.
- Continuously seek ways to improve personal, team, and business performance.
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices as required by current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately.
- Ensure that all materials and resources are effectively and efficiently utilised to minimise waste and reduce costs.
- Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable requests from the senior leadership team.
