ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new role for Wolves Lane Centre and a key hire for the next phase of the organisation's development. The Communications Manager will lead on all communications activity for Wolves Lane Centre, ensuring that what happens on site is clearly and compellingly communicated to the people who matter most: our community, our partners, our funders, and the wider public. Wolves Lane is a busy, multi-use site. At any point there may be food growing and agroecological education happening alongside commercial and community events, the work of resident enterprises like Black Rootz, and the day-to-day activity of the shop, cafe, and hire spaces. The Communications and Marketing Manager will need to hold all of this and find ways to tell the story of the site in a way that is coherent, engaging, and true to our values. The successful candidate will be employed by The Ubele Initiative CIC and seconded to Wolves Lane Consortium, reporting to the Operations Manager. The day-to-day work will be focused on Wolves Lane Centre, working closely with Ubele colleagues where communications activity requires coordination or alignment. This is an onsite role
