This is a unique opportunity to lead the AI transformation of one of the UK's leading digital consultancies. As Director of AI Transformation, you'll define and deliver UBDS' AI strategy, embedding AI across our business, products and customer services while shaping the future of AI-enabled digital transformation. Working closely with the Group CTO and executive leadership team, you'll drive innovation, deliver measurable business value and help establish UBDS as a recognised leader in AI for the UK public sector.
You'll also lead Forge, our cross-government AI initiative, bringing together government, industry and technology partners to develop AI-native approaches to digital service delivery and influence the future of public sector transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Define and deliver UBDS' AI transformation strategy.
- Drive AI adoption across business operations, customer delivery and products.

You'll be a strategic technology leader with experience delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation and AI adoption. You'll bring:
- Senior leadership experience delivering digital or technology transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models and enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience implementing AI governance and responsible AI practices.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS or equivalent cloud AI services.
- Strong commercial acumen and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with UK public sector organisations.
- Experience with AI regulation, sovereign cloud, GDS service standards or government delivery methodologies would be advantageous.
