This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Power Platform Developer who is passionate about technology and delivering high‑quality solutions. You will work as part of a collaborative team to build, configure, test and support Power Platform solutions for our clients. You will contribute to the delivery of digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies while developing your technical skills and experience. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Senior Developers, Delivery Managers and client stakeholders to help deliver effective business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Business Analysts, senior team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and user stories.
  • Develop and configure Power Platform solutions in line with agreed requirements and established best practices.
  • Build and maintain Canvas Apps, Model‑Driven Apps, Power Automate flows and Power Pages solutions.
  • Support the implementation of Power Platform environments and assist with application deployments.
  • Contribute to solution design discussions and provide technical input where appropriate.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Test solutions and support defect resolution activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Power Platform applications and environments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and third‑party suppliers to support successful project delivery.
  • Follow agreed delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
  • Provide support to managed service customers and assist with incident and service request resolution.
  • Keep up to date with developments in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Canvas Apps.
  • Model‑Driven Apps.
  • Power Automate Cloud Flows.
  • Power Pages.
  • Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio.

Data & Integration

  • Dataverse tables, relationships and security concepts.
  • Working with multiple data sources.
  • REST APIs and standard connectors.
  • SQL Server and Azure SQL fundamentals.
  • Microsoft Entra ID authentication concepts.

Development & Deployment

  • Solution management and application lifecycle management (ALM).
  • Source control tools such as Git.
  • Basic CI/CD deployment processes.
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or .NET development is beneficial.

Power Platform Administration

  • Power Platform governance principles.
  • Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.
  • Environment management and security best practices.

Knowledge & Behaviours

  • Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Microsoft Power Platform App Maker Associate.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience developing or supporting Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform technologies within public sector clients / environments.

Desirable

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Exposure to Power Platform AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services or OpenAI technologies.
  • Participation in technology communities, user groups, forums or personal development projects.
