Job Title: International Business Manager
Location: London (Stratford E15)
Reporting to: Director of Sales and Marketing
Job Overview:
The International Business Manager will play a pivotal role in driving international business growth by developing and executing strategic global market entry and expansion plans. This individual will be responsible for devising go-to-market (GTM) strategies, managing regional sales performance, and overseeing key business development initiatives. The role requires a strong commercial acumen, analytical expertise, and leadership skills to optimize operations and ensure sustained growth across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement international business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Design and present budget proposals, ensuring effective financial management for each region.
- Oversee regional sales operations, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on student application pipelines, final enrolments, and business performance on a weekly, monthly, and intake basis.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, analyse trends, and assess competitive activities in each region.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to gather and interpret data, optimising market positioning and promotional strategies.
- Ensure high standards of quality assurance and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide regular training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and maintain service excellence.
- Lead monthly performance reviews with regional teams to assess progress and address operational challenges.
- Promote the effective utilisation of HubSpot and other CRM tools to streamline business operations and improve data-driven decision-making.
- Travel as necessary to key regions to support business expansion, strengthen relationships, and drive commercial success.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic projects as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field; a Master\’s degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in international business development, sales management, or market expansion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing budgets, forecasting sales, and setting performance targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Understand of UKVI regulations and international market challenges in Higher Education sector.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
