Employment Type: Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours

Annual Base Salary: Negotiable plus uncapped Commissions

Experience Required: 3 years + in the Education Consulting Industry

Important Requirement: A great Network in the Education sector including Student Recruitment Consultants

Location: London Stratford (E15) - In person

We are expanding our footprint across the UK and Europe and are currently recruiting a Student Recruitment Business Developer to join our team in London

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Student Recruitment Business Developer at UAPP, you will oversee a team of Freelance Student Consultants, ensuring that our high standards of student guidance are maintained. Your role will include mentoring, training, and supporting your team while also engaging in recruitment activities. You’ll play a pivotal part in achieving team targets and reporting to the Senior Stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of consultants to ensure student recruitment goals are met.
  • Training and mentoring consultants, providing them with resources to enhance performance.
  • Conducting meaningful 1-2-1 sessions on call quality, customer outcomes and performance KPIs.
  • Ensuring you and your team stay updated on UK university programs, entry criteria, and industry trends.
  • Tracking enquiries, applications, admissions data, and managing student recruitment pipelines.
  • Utilising various communication channels, including phone calls, emails and virtual platforms, to engage with prospective students and nurture leads.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with prospective students to keep them engaged and informed throughout the admissions process.
  • Assisting consultants with providing personalised guidance to students on university options and admission requirements.
  • Being part of conversations to brainstorm strategies to improve student conversion rates from initial contact through to enrolment.
  • Representing UAPP at events and workshops.
  • Supporting social media initiatives by promoting UAPP across various platforms and helping to develop new content.
  • Solving problems and resolving conflicts
  • Reporting and presenting progress to the Sales Manager in London

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking candidates with the following:

  • Right to work in the UK without a visa
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 3 years of proven experience in education consulting or student admissions
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of UK universities, courses, and admission processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A results-driven and customer-focused mindset
