At UAPP, we are dedicated to making the process of applying to universities in the UK easier for students worldwide and streamlining the recruitment process for universities. Our Edtech platform is designed to provide students with the resources and support they need to embark on their Higher Education journey and help universities engage with prospective students seamlessly. We are expanding our footprint across the UK and Europe and we are therefore recruiting an Admissions Manager to join our team to assist with this process.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong, professional relationships with university partners at all levels.
- Act as a representative of the organization in engagements with university admissions teams.
- Ensure alignment between university expectations and internal admissions processes.
- Liaise with University representatives on regular basis to ensure higher conversion from application to unconditional offer letter stage.
- Formulate SLAs for each university and work with Partnership manager to establish these SLAs with universities.
- Process Optimization
- Evaluate and refine internal admissions workflows for greater efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Align application processes with partner expectations and industry best practices.
- Compliance Management
- Ensure adherence to all relevant local and international regulations in admissions.
- Stay informed about policy updates and adjust internal procedures accordingly.
- Guide the team in implementing compliance-related changes.
- Service & Information Transfer
- Enhance communication between the admissions team and sales team.
- Introduce improvements in the way information and services are delivered.
- Promote timely, accurate, and clear exchanges of data.
- Customer Service Excellence
- Uphold and improve service standards for students and consultants.
- Address concerns and queries efficiently with a focus on satisfaction and accuracy.
- Create and implement initiatives to improve student and partner experience.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control checks for all applications before submission.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to maintain high standards.
- Address gaps or recurring issues in application quality.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide guidance to admissions staff and encourage knowledge sharing.
- Address team challenges proactively and professionally.
- Liaise with Sales team to optimize the student journey and make process more streamlined.
- Training & Development
- Liaise with Sales manager for training on new products (New partner universities).
- Assess training needs and deliver targeted development programs.
- Ensure staff are well-trained on compliance, process updates, and technology tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Monitoring & Risk Mitigation
- Continuously assess processes for potential compliance or operational risks.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures as necessary.
- Maintain a proactive stance on risk management.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular updates to leadership on team performance and compliance.
- Maintain organized records of process updates, reports, and decisions.
- Ensure documentation supports transparency and accountability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Right to work in the UK without a visa
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 1-3 years of proven experience in education consulting or student admissions
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of UK universities, courses, and admission processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
