We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join a multidisciplinary project focused on early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma recurrence. The project will apply deep learning to improve detection using multiphase CT imaging and longitudinal biomarker data in routine practice. You will work with multidisciplinary clinical and AI teams on applied research, developing and evaluating computational methods, analysing imaging data, collaborating with clinicians for real-world impact, and contributing to publications.
About You
- PhD (or near completion) in computer science, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, or related field
- Experience in deep learning with practical implementation
- Strong Python skills and relevant frameworks
- Experience with large clinical imaging datasets in secure environments
- Background in medical image analysis (CT/MRI preferred)
- Knowledge of detection, segmentation, and model development methods
- Interest in multimodal or longitudinal clinical data
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
