About the role

Due to continued growth in the School, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance (Teaching Focused) to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of our undergraduate and postgraduate finance programmes. You will teach across a range of modules in finance, both in-person and through distance learning, while supervising student dissertations and supporting curriculum innovation in a research-informed teaching environment.

As part of your role, you will also contribute to the School’s scholarship agenda through a variety of outputs and engagement activities. You’ll be involved in programme design, student support, quality assurance, and academic leadership. With opportunities to participate in enterprise initiatives and external collaborations, this post offers a platform for delivering meaningful impact in the field of finance education while enhancing the School’s national and international profile.

About you

You will have recognised expertise in finance, supported by a completed PhD or significant equivalent professional experience. You should have recent experience delivering finance modules at university level and demonstrate a commitment to pedagogical excellence and innovation. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to academic work, and the ability to contribute to teaching quality and curriculum development are essential.
