Position Overview
Department: Respiratory
Schedule: 6:30am to 7:00pm as needed including weekends
Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham

What You Will Do
- Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies consistent with student scope of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
- Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.
What You Will Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: High school diploma equivalency AND Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
- Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
