As Floor Supervisor/Duty Manager, you will oversee smooth day-to-day floor operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, support the management team, and lead the floor team during busy late-night service.
You will coordinate kitchen, bar, hosting, runner, karaoke room, and lounge activities while maintaining high standards of food and beverage service.. .
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the floor team during service..
- Deliver outstanding customer service and guest experiences..
- Coordinate effectively with the bar, kitchen, hosts, runners, karaoke rooms, and lounge..
- Manage VIP guests, bookings, enquiries, and customer concerns professionally..
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service..
- Support staff training, motivation, and development..
- Ensure health, safety, food hygiene, and licensing procedures are followed..
- Assist with opening and closing duties and daily operations..
- Identify sales opportunities and encourage appropriate upselling..
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies when required..
- Address guest concerns promptly and work to maximise satisfaction..
Skills and requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a high-end bar, nightlife, restaurant, or hospitality environment..
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills..
- Confidence working in fast-paced, late-night environments..
- A positive attitude and strong team mentality..
- A professional, guest-focused approach..
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends..
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining attention to detail..
