U Value Insulation are one of the UK & Ireland's leading family-owned distributors of building materials, specialising in insulation and drywall products, to the Irish and UK markets. Established over forty years ago, U Value has a history of servicing some of the largest Irish and British construction firms. We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced and growing team. You will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham
About the role:
- Operating a Reach Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Offloading supplier goods and ensuring accurate stock control
- Working within company policies and procedures to maintain high health & safety standards
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and running efficiently
- Working as part of a friendly and motivated team
Requirements:
- Previous Reach Forklift Truck driving experience (license/cert preferred)
- A proactive, hands-on approach
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- A positive attitude with the drive to grow your career
- It is an advantage if the successful candidate has a shunting licence, but not ideal training can be provided
- Experience in a busy yard/warehouse is a distinct advantage
