How to prepare for a job interview at U-Trak

Know Your Vehicle Inside Out

Since you’ll be using your own small van, make sure you’re familiar with its features and any quirks it might have. Be ready to discuss how your vehicle is suitable for the job and how it can handle the demands of delivering up to 120 parcels.

Plan Your Route

Before the interview, think about how you would plan your delivery routes. Being able to demonstrate your knowledge of efficient routing will show that you’re proactive and organised, which are key traits for a multi-drop driver.

Highlight Your Time Management Skills

With a 10-hour shift to deliver a significant number of parcels, time management is crucial. Prepare examples of how you’ve successfully managed your time in previous roles or situations, especially if they involved tight schedules.

Be Ready to Discuss Fuel Costs

Since you’ll be paying for your own fuel, it’s important to show that you understand the costs involved. You might want to prepare some insights on how you plan to manage fuel efficiency while on the job, as this demonstrates responsibility and foresight.
