In this role, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, supporting essential maintenance operations across our embassy properties. What You'll Do
- Support Skilled Tradespeople – assist with electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, and minor construction projects
- Drive & Deliver – operate a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Class II truck to support facilities operations
- Maintain Properties – work on both government-owned and leased functional and residential properties
- Track & Report – monitor maintenance needs, keep accurate records, and manage work orders
- Be Part of the Team – collaborate with technicians and Facilities Management staff to keep our mission running smoothly
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 1 in Electrical, Plumbing, or Construction (or US equivalent)
- Experience in building maintenance or as a Trades Helper
- Current full UK/EU manual driver's license with HGV Class II qualification
- Good working knowledge of English (speaking, reading, and writing)
