Overview: This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.
Duties: This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until filled. Eligible applications received will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. The NP is a licensed independent practitioner with advanced education and national certification who provides evidence-based care for a population of patients. The NP practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification. Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges that correspond with this position.
