As an ambitious and results-driven Sales Development Representative, you will be joining a very successful European Sales Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by researching, building relationships and booking initial discovery meetings across the wider sales regions. As this is an Enterprise role, the relationships built will be with senior executives in the retail space, including Heads of Finance, IT and Marketing.
Accountabilities for your role - what are you expected to do?
- Direct sales development role responsible for bringing in new sales leads for the Enterprise retail team
- Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calls & emails (Min 40 emails per day plus tele conversations)
- Work with marketing on retail focused thought leadership initiatives and articles
- Full responsibility for the delivery of set financial targets and objectives
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with different Sales team members to agree key areas of focus in line with higher level strategic objectives
- Track performance, results, and provide communication to both the teams and end customers through sales development disciplines
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients within the retail sector
- Meeting Scheduling: Secure meetings for our sales team with key decision-makers
- Sales Tools Utilisation: Leverage sales and marketing technology stacks such as TAMI, D&B, Zoom Info and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM system (Salesforce.com)

Technical Competencies for your Role - what are you expected to know?
- Experience and knowledge of payments industry - Advantageous
- Knowledge of technology and payment gateway providers - Advantageous
- Well-developed understanding of sales methodologies – Training will be provided
- Knowledge of CRM systems e.g. Salesforce – Advantageous
- Good communication skills across a variety of mediums such as telephone, Teams, in person meetings
- Presentation skills to match the above
- Microsoft Office 365, Zoom Info, Tami, Sales Navigator
