Responsibilities:
- Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact.
- Registers and assigns rooms to guests, issues room keys, and may escort guests to rooms as needed.
- Calculates and posts charges to patron accounts, balances totals, accepts payment, makes change, and presents departing guests with checkout statements.
- Ensures that customer service is the highest priority.
Requirements:
- This position requires completion of a background investigation with favourable results.
- Must meet the state and legal age requirement for resale of alcoholic beverages (18 in the United Kingdom).
- This position may require an uncommon tour of duty, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Qualifying experience (to be supported in your resume): experience in general clerical or cashier work demonstrating ability to handle multiple tasks, provide quality customer service, resolve arithmetic problems, and make change with customers.
- Education: Some federal positions allow substitution of education for experience; this position does not permit education substitution.
