About the position: This position is located at Air Spare Bowling Center, RAF Fairford, UK. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Investigation. Subject to an irregular tour of duty to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
Duties Requirements: This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
Qualifications: To qualify, you must meet the experience requirements below. Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, including service through programs like Peace Corps or AmeriCorps. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, transcripts are required.
- Experience in methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation in a food service setting.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work safely, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment, characteristics of various foods, and ability to season food and determine when foods are done.
- Physical ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods.
