U-Educate are currently recruiting for Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants for schools based in Birmingham. We have a range of roles available, including general classroom support, 1:1 SEN support, and intervention-based positions. Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day work or a long-term placement, we'll match you with schools that suit your skills, preferences, and career goals.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in their learning across a range of subjects
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs
- Lead small group interventions and activities
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Contribute to pupil progress tracking and feedback
Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong experience supporting pupils with additional needs
- Confidence in leading small group sessions and contributing to planning

- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
- Provide professional references
- Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's education
