Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a new challenge? U-Educate are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools based in Birmingham. The role is day-to-day work based on your availability. The school we are working with is looking for strong and confident Cover Supervisors with good communication and behaviour management.
Job Description
- Supervision of a classroom in the absence of their teacher
- Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
- Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
- Manage classroom behaviour
Requirements
- Previous teaching experience
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
- Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-Educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
