Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a new challenge? U-Educate are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools based in Birmingham. The role is day-to-day work based on your availability. The school we are working with is looking for strong and confident Cover Supervisors with good communication and behaviour management.

Job Description

  • Supervision of a classroom in the absence of their teacher
  • Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
  • Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
  • Manage classroom behaviour

Requirements

  • Previous teaching experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-Educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
