We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Administrator to join the team at U-Drive. Reporting into the Fleet Manager, you will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, and will be the first point of contact for our clients and supply chain. This is a busy, varied role in a fast-moving environment.

About the Role

  • Become the first and main point of contact for our clients, both external and internal.
  • Communicating clear and accurate information to both clients and the supply chain.
  • Proactively managing all fleet related incidents, providing assistance within individual service level agreements.
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and email correspondence promptly and professionally.
  • Managing, as part of the Fleet Administration team, routine servicing, inspections, MOT/Plate test and Road Fund Licence.
  • Liaising with the Insurance Team, Account Management Team and Sales Teams, identifying areas of improvement within the services being provided.
  • Recording all activities within the fleet management software accurately and without delay.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern, with working hours falling between 7:00am and 6:00pm depending on the allocated shift. Bank Holidays will sometimes be worked on a half-day basis.

Requirements

Essential

  • GCSE English.
  • Confident and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Available for rotating shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
  • Available for occasional half-day Bank Holiday working.

Desirable

  • Experience in a front-line operational role dealing with breakdowns, chasing work, and keeping vehicles on the road.
  • Experience in an administrative role supporting operational service delivery with accurate record-keeping and written communication.
  • Experience coordinating vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs, or other fleet maintenance activity.
  • Experience managing fleet-related incidents or prioritising urgent operational issues against service level agreements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using a fleet or rental management system.
  • Experience in vehicle rental, fleet administration, or a comparable transport environment.
  • Working knowledge of fleet compliance requirements, including MOT, plate test, and Road Fund Licence.
  • Experience working to defined service level agreements.
  • Experience handling incoming telephone calls and email correspondence with customers or internal stakeholders in a prompt and professional manner.
