About The Role
Workshop Vehicle Technician Position at our Bristol branch.
Become a vital part of our growing team! We are currently offering a permanent position for a Workshop Vehicle Technician. The standard work week is 42 hours, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with the Operations team in coordinating and prioritising works
- Perform scheduled maintenance on both customer and U-Drive vehicles, primarily LCVs with some cars
- Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to identify and address vehicle issues
- Execute preventive maintenance inspections, guaranteeing the safety and roadworthiness of all vehicles
- Prepare vehicles for MOT
- Service and maintain all vehicles to the highest standard
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Maintain accurate records for works completed and parts used

Requirements
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance, and Repair is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mechanic, with strong LCV experience
- Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic expertise
- Experience with tablet-based job recording and clear written communication on tablet-based jobs
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK
