About You

We're looking for down to earth people, full of energy, ready to make their mark on the motor industry. Previous experience in a similar role in a Bodyshop is desirable but not essential. Full UK Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 12 months, free from endorsements such as AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT or UT. A good eye for detail. Positive 'Can do' attitude. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Appraiser and Prepper you will be responsible for preparing new vehicles for deployment to the rental fleet as well as generating vehicle cosmetic condition reports and valeting vehicles ready to be sold. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake appraisal/inspection and imaging of vehicles.
  • Preparing vehicles for fleet use or disposal, including where required valeting, removal or application of signage.
  • Small cosmetic work such as polishing, mopping, touch up, wheel changes, body mouldings.
  • Driving, moving vehicles within the branch location, delivery and collecting vehicles from other locations within the UK, adhering to speed limits and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety, keeping work area's clean, tidy and compliant with regulations.
  • Be able to meet a minimum daily target of vehicle preparations, inspections and images.
  • Any other reasonable request.
