About The Role
- Remove vehicle signwriting using a heat gun, ensuring all branding is fully cleared
- Clean and detail vehicles to the required standards, removing any remaining evidence of the U-Drive brand
- Perform machine polishing/mopping to restore vehicle appearance
- Undertake basic remedial work, including wheel changes, installing body mouldings, and safely jump‑starting vehicles
- Photograph, film, and record descriptive videos of vehicles for marketing and sales purposes
- Use the vehicle management system to update and track vehicle progress
- Safely move, position, and park vehicles in designated areas
- Collect vehicles from other U-Drive branches when required
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, keeping work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with regulations
- Ensure the yard and surrounding spaces remain clean, free of rubbish, litter, and weeds
- Support internal branch cleanliness and housekeeping
- Perform any additional duties as required
Requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Positive "can do" attitude
- Solid understanding of vehicle cleaning and detailing practices
- Team player with honesty and trustworthiness
