The Role: We are in search of highly motivated and ambitious Senior Human Factors specialists who take pride in delivering exceptional work for their client, prioritise the needs of end-users impacted by the systems they help design, and have a thirst for continual development. As a Human Factors professional, you will demonstrate how you have applied HF thinking, techniques and methodologies in the delivery of work for projects you have led or supported. Your role will primarily involve executing and successfully delivering project assignments for clients predominantly operating in safety critical sectors.
Ideal candidates should possess a range of experience and expertise in Human Factors. Rather than list out where those skills might be, we want you to tell us what experience you currently have.
To be considered for the role, candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Degree or Post-graduate degree in ergonomics or a related science or engineering based subject or vocational qualification (HND or equivalent) with demonstrable practical experience.
- Knowledge and experience of applying different HF techniques, methodologies and thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication, report writing and presentation skills.
- Professional membership to a relevant chartered body (desirable).
To work for UCD, all candidates must hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any restrictions. UCD will support the application for Security Clearance if the candidate does not currently hold it. Due to the nature of work, we are currently only looking for people who are British nationals.
