u-blox is the leading provider of Global Satellite Navigation System (GNSS) solutions. Join our HPA Technology Team and shape the future of satellite navigation. We're looking for a highly skilled Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to develop state-of-the-art algorithms for GNSS, LEO, and multi-antenna systems. You'll work alongside world-class experts, pushing the boundaries of positioning performance, resilience, and innovation.
This position can be located in Tampere, FI or Reigate, UK.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced GNSS signal processing algorithms for:
- High-precision positioning
- Spoofing detection and mitigation
- GNSS diversity antenna integration
- Multi-constellation, multi-frequency integration
- LEO and NTN signals for multi-layered positioning
Your Skills and Experience
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields (Computer Science, Physics, Geoinformatics, etc.) with relevant experience.
- 5+ years working with GNSS technology at the signal processing or embedded system level.
- Proven DSP algorithm design skills including simulation/coding in Matlab/Python.
- Competence in embedded software development (C/C++), debugging, testing, and CI workflows.
- Bonus
- Understanding of RF/analog impairments in GNSS or wireless receivers.
- Strong foundation in wireless PHY layer techniques: detection, acquisition, synchronization, parameter estimation, and tracking.
- Hands-on experience with SDR hardware (e.g., RTL-SDR, USRP).
- Familiarity with Git, SVN, Perforce, Jira, or similar tools.
