United Kingdom (with client travel) · Full-time Competitive Salary + Equity Opportunity
We are building TYTEN, bringing AI to the $1.5 trillion facilities management industry. The one that keeps the world running: elevators that don’t trap people, heating that works in winter, pipes that don’t burst on Christmas Eve.
We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who will work directly with customers to understand their operations, configure our AI platform to their needs, and ensure successful deployments. This is a client-facing technical role for engineers who love solving real problems with real people.
What we’re building
- Help desk automation: Orchestrates repair requests, task allocation, subcontractor coordination, reporting. Cutting processing time by 20x.
- AI-guided diagnostics: Step-by-step guidance through our app with tools, diagnostic steps, repair instructions. 25% faster repairs, 15% better first-time fix rates.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll be the bridge between our technology and our clients. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their facilities management workflows, configure our AI platform to their needs, and ensure successful deployments from kickoff through go-live and beyond.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years in a client-facing technical role (solutions engineer, technical consultant, implementation engineer, or similar)
- Strong communication skills — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Python and APIs (REST, webhooks)
- Comfortable with SQL and data analysis
- Problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous situations
Bonus:
- Experience with facilities management, property tech, or enterprise software
- Experience with AI/ML products
Who we’re looking for
You enjoy working with customers and listening to them. You get energy from solving real problems for real people, not just writing code in isolation. You thrive in ambiguity. Client needs are messy, requirements change, and you’re the type who figures it out. You want to be in the field, not stuck behind a desk. Travel, client meetings, hands-on deployments — that’s your thing.
What we offer
- Competitive salary, travel expenses covered, flexible working
- Direct client impact: see your work transform real operations
- Variety: every client brings new challenges and learning opportunities
- Cutting-edge tech: work with AI-powered automation and intelligent workflows
- Growth path: shape the customer success function as we scale
