We are seeking to employ a BMS & Smart Engineering Consultant to work out of our award winning London office.

We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic professional to join our expanding Smart Buildings Group.
The role relates to the concept, design, procurement and delivery of Building Management and Smart Systems in a wide variety of high-profile new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects, for a varied client base in diverse market sectors.
The role encompasses all stages of project delivery, from the design stages, through monitoring of the subsequent construction and commissioning phases, to ensure successful implementation of the BMS or Smart Building System. The role includes the preparation of technical specifications and drawings and will also involve some site-related activities, such as inspection and witness-testing of installed systems. Additionally, the role will involve business development and client relations.
We'd like to hear from you if you have
- Proven professional experience in the BMS industry, preferably as a BMS Consultant.
- A strong BMS background, with experience in the integration and convergence of other systems such as Access, Security, Fire, and Client IT networks on both a masterplan and building level.
- Understanding and/or experience with Smart Building Platforms and communication protocols.
- Understanding and experience with IT networking and associated technologies.
- A strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services Systems.
- A practical approach to the application of design standards and certifications during project design and delivery.
- A strong desire to influence the drive for continuous improvement, with attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work alone on your own initiative in addition to being a team player.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships throughout the business, both internally and externally with an excellent customer focus.
- Good understanding of sustainable building design, renewable and low carbon technology.
Qualifications & Skills
- The candidate will have relevant industry or engineering qualifications.
- The candidate will Ideally have a BSc in a related engineering discipline.
