C&S Tyres, part of the Tyrefix UK Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated Tyre Repair & Workshop Technicians to join our busy, fast-paced team in Astley, Greater Manchester. Since 1998, we’ve been leaders in the heavy OTR (Off-the-Road) tyre market, working with some of the UK’s largest plant, agricultural, and construction businesses. From advanced vulcanised tyre repairs to foam filling and solid tyre fitting, our expertise keeps industries moving.

The Role

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime and occasional weekend work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working hands‑on with plant, agricultural, and earthmover tyres, carrying out high-quality major tyre repairs.
  • Using specialist equipment for pressing and foam filling large industrial OTR tyres.
  • Getting involved in varied workshop tasks, supporting the wider team to meet customer needs.
  • Playing a key role in safety, precision, and quality – ensuring every repair helps keep heavy machinery running smoothly.
  • Building your expertise in a niche, specialist trade with full training and ongoing support.
