Join Tyrefair as a Commercial Roadside Breakdown Tyre Fitter, and enjoy working with a great team, providing high quality customer service in all aspects of tyre fitting. You also maybe be required (it is not essential) to carry out small repairs/fast fit i.e bulbs, brakes, batteries, wipers etc, training will be provided. Carrying out commercial tyre fitting on roadside breakdowns, as well as in the Branch, you\'ll be able to work on your own as well as part of our friendly and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting, repairing, and replacing tyres for commercial vehicles
- Attending roadside breakdowns and call-outs
- Performing tyre inspections and pressure checks
- Completing job cards and customer paperwork accurately
- Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times
- First class customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A positive and professional approach
- Ideally an SVQ/City and Guilds and REACT qualification or equivalent
- A full valid driving licence
Main duties include:
- Working as part of a team
- To ensure all safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- To provide quality workmanship at all times, seeking advice and guidance where necessary
- To ensure all work is of the correct quality
- To maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures.
- To ensure all equipment is kept in good working order.
- Attend training courses as and when required
- Participate in the cleaning rota
Please note that flexibility and availability for breakdown is critical in this role, including availability for night callouts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
