Tyre Safety Centre Ltd 2-4 Dungannon Road Cookstown Co Tyrone BT80 8TL Job Title: Tyre Fitter (Full Time Permanent) Hours: Monday Friday 7.45am-5.15pm Sat 7.45am -12.00pm Purpose of the position: This job will apply to tyre fitting of passenger and light commercial industrial vehicles. The duties will include inspection to determine preferred repair action, repairing tyres and tubes, selecting tyres and rims for particular vehicles and balancing of tyres and wheels. Responsibilities : Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment Contribute to workplace communication Establish relations with customers Balance tyres and Wheels Remove, fit, and adjust wheel(s) Select tyres and rims for specific applications Remove, repair and fit tyres and tubes Use of Breakdown Van/Roadside Assistance if required Deliveries with use of Company Van Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy work area Work with colleagues and customers Receive and store stock Maintain industrial machinery in a soil free condition Any other duty as may be required by management Clean driving licence
