Mechanic (3+ years' Experience) (Full Time Permanent)
Hours: Monday-Friday 7.30 am-5.15 pm
Purpose of the position: This job will apply to mechanical advice in relation to passenger and light commercial industrial vehicles. The duties will include inspection, advice, and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out domestic and light commercial vehicle repairs and servicing
- Work to manufacturers specifications and quality guidelines
- Answering of telephones and providing customer quotations and pricing jobs
- Fault analysis and implementation of solutions
- Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures
- Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
- Contribute to workplace communication
- Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy work area
- Work with colleagues and customers
- Receive and store stock
- Maintain industrial machinery in a soil free condition
- Any other duty as may be required by management
