About the role
ProViae Australia is on the lookout for a skilled OTR Tyre Fitter to join our Welshpool team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, based in our fully equipped workshop, managing client wheels sent in for refurbishment and repair.
What you will be doing
- Inspecting and replacing OTR tyres, rims and chains on mining equipment wheels
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and best practices
- Maintaining records of all wheel-related activities
- Collaborating with the wider team to optimise wheel management processes
- Working alongside a highly experienced team with extensive mining and OTR wheel management experience
What we’re looking for
- Previous OTR experience highly regarded
- Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing (Heavy) is an advantage
- Proven competence in forklift operation
- A valid HR driver’s licence is an advantage
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and solve tyre related issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
