This is a terrific opportunity for a Technical Estimator to join an Award-Winning Specialist in Glazing & Façade Systems to prestigious Homeowners, Architects, Specifiers, Developers, Premium Contractors and High-end House Builders.

ESTIMATOR / TECHNICAL ESTIMATOR – GLAZING & FACADES

LOCATION: Office based.

SALARY: up to £40K basic, plus benefits, use of company car, mileage, free parking, training and development, 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension.

HOURS: Permanent, full time. Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

You will be a strong part of the Estimation process, your primary objective will be to ensure a smooth customer experience for the client; interpreting design information, providing technical assistance and processing the technical data.

Your duties as Technical Estimator will include:

  • Analyse project specifications and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Produce project documentation for client’s approval.
  • Process the client’s payment via phone/ email.
  • Send warranty to client post installation.
  • General admin tasks relating to project.
  • Support the commercial team and clients with technical queries.
  • Liaise with Architects and provide advice on Glazing and Façade Systems.

An Estimator, with at least 2 years’ experience in the Building/ Construction industry, ideally a background in Architectural Facades, Cladding or Glazing market sector. You must be able to read and understand technical drawings.

You will be a key member of the Projects team, with excellent customer facing presentation / communication skills, proficient in Microsoft office, Excel and Outlook and Auto CAD skills.

Your current / previous roles may include Junior Technical Estimator, Trainee Estimator, Technical Administrator, Document Controller, Architectural Sales Consultant, Technical Support Administrator, Architectural Administrator, Commercial Glazing Specialist, Technical Coordinator, Project Administrator, Technical Sales Administrator, Construction Administrator, Projects Administrator, Construction Project Customer Support, Junior Project Coordinator, Glazing Estimator, Construction Estimator, Architectural Glazing, Project Support, Construction Project Assistant, Construction Administrator, CAD Engineer, Project Support Officer, Project Support Coordinator or similar.
