Experienced Electricians required for a rapidly growing Facilities Management company specialising in reactive and planned maintenance works on multiple residential refurbishment projects for Housing Associations in Kent and Southeast London. We are looking for multiple Electricians to deliver a safe place to live for residents in local communities and make a real difference every day!
Location: BR/DA/SE postcodes working on Housing Association projects around Kent and SE London.
Salary: £40K-£50K basic plus benefits, overtime opportunities, pension, van, fuel card, uniform, PPE, employee assistance scheme.
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday.
Working as part of a busy team of property maintenance engineers, you will be a key member of the front-line services, liaising with tenants in the local community daily, delivering excellent customer service, repairs and maintenance.
One of the first major projects you will be given will be working on 47 social housing flats, assessing the existing wiring and determining if a new circuit is required, carrying out any modifications, fuse replacement, tripped switches, and installing or replacing bathroom/kitchen extractor fans, ensuring they are compliant with building regulations and electrical safety standards.
You will have a sound understanding of the Social Housing Management/Housing Maintenance Sector and have good customer-facing communication skills, qualified to 18th edition, NVQ in Electrical Engineering, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Your current or previous jobs may be an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Building Services Technician, Property Services Engineer, Residential Electrician, Electrical Installation Engineer, Domestic Electrical Installer, Multi Skilled Electrician or similar.
