This is a terrific opportunity for a bright and motivated Business Development Manager/ Sales Executive to help drive the continued growth of a successful Facilities Maintenance business, using your proven Sales and Business Development skills to build on their enviable reputation. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FM SALES LOCATION: Office based – near Longfield/ Dartford, Kent. You may be looking for office-based sales / marketing jobs in Kent, Longfield, Wrotham, Hartley, Dartford. SALARY: £45K – £55K basic, uncapped bonus, plus benefits, training & pension. HOURS: Permanent, full time. Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm As Business Development Manager, you will need to be an experienced salesperson. Knowledge of the Facilities Maintenance / FM Industry would be ideal, however not essential. Ongoing training and support will equip you with the skills required of this diverse and interesting sales role where you will be actively seeking out new business and opportunities whilst maintaining and developing ongoing profitable relationships with clients. Day to day duties will include: * Following up on leads & identifying opportunities. * Keeping records up to date on the KMS system. * Helping to prepare PQQ’s, tender submissions. * Assisting the preconstruction teams. * Producing marketing literature and data sheets. * Managing customer satisfaction surveys. * Organising corporate events. * Liaising with Sales and Marketing Manager for Social Media output. This is not a hard closing sales role, but does require someone with a real, genuine passion for commercial / business to business (B2B) sales / customer service. You will enjoy gathering the relevant information to be able to recommend the right solutions and advice to commercial customers. You will be a dynamic Sales Developer with confident telephone sales techniques, a friendly and helpful manner as well as a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you will also have a good working knowledge of word, excel, outlook and social media.
