ROLE:TIG WELDER
LOCATION:Based in the Havant area, near Portsmouth.You may be searching for Fabricating/ Welding jobs in Havant, Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Hampshire, Fareham, Chichester, Petersfield.
SALARY: £15- £16 per hour, plus benefits and incentives, uniform, allowance, canteen facilities, company events, 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after completion of a full years service.
HOURS: Mon-Fri 39-hour week.
Working as part of a close-knit team carrying out precision welding duties, collaborating with the Production Manager and Supervisors, your primary duties will be TIG welding and fabricating of stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components.
As a skilled Welder, you will need a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Welding role, able to read and interpret blueprints/ engineering drawings.A welding related qualification / time-served apprenticeship, able to adhere to operational processes, health and safety guidelines and quality standards.
You will be a highly motivated Welder with a great work ethic, excellent planning and installation skills, able to prepare the materials prior to welding, good levels of competence in the use of metalworking machinery for light steel fabrications as well as being able to communicate effectively with clients and the rest of the team
