TYPEBEA is on the lookout for a digital-first, high-output Graphic Designer & Creative to join our growing London team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who wants to immerse themselves in a fast-growing beauty startup, leading our digital visual identity across EDMs, homepages, paid social, and performance marketing. You'll craft bold, high-volume static and video content built to convert, particularly for Meta, while also supporting a smaller but active stream of packaging, retail, and in-store work. This is a real opportunity to help define and strengthen TYPEBEA's brand identity as we scale, working closely with our Social Media Manager and wider team. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes modern design trends, understands what converts across paid, social, and eCommerce, and can bring strategic thinking, creativity, and high-output execution together in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design for all brand creative, including digital content (primary focus, high-volume): EDMs, homepages, paid social (Meta statics and video), web banners, and other high-performing digital ads.
- Website assets including PDPs across typebea.com and retailer sites (e.g. Sephora.com), plus potential asset creation for our Amazon and TikTok Shop storefronts.
- High-performing static, animated, and short-form video content.
- NPD packaging and line extensions (concept to production).
- Retail creative, POS, displays, visual merchandising, retailer toolkits, and major trade presentations.
- Translate marketing briefs, mood boards, and brand strategy into on-brand, compelling, conversion-focused visuals (static, animated, and dynamic).
- Actively leverage AI tools (e.g. MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, generative design tools, AI video workflows) to develop creative concepts, visual direction, and asset creation, and to explore new creative formats, testing and iterating quickly.
- Take ownership of shaping and strengthening TYPEBEA's brand identity as we scale, a significant opportunity to help define our visual identity, brand guidelines, and creative templates from the ground up.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure creative output aligns with business goals.
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to develop and align digital and social-first creative assets.
Creative Campaign Support
- Support the Head of Campaigns and Comms with creative direction support: contribute to shaping the overall look and feel of campaigns (both brand and monthly thematic campaigns); support with localised shoots across styling and creative; partner with external creators/suppliers to deliver creative needs as required.
- Brand guardianship: ensure all creative work adheres to brand standards while exploring new visual expressions.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
- Contribute to ideation for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Bring a trend-aware, culturally tuned point of view to all creative work.
- Keep up to date with industry design trends, beauty innovations, and competitor activity.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in a design role within beauty, lifestyle, or DTC brands.
- Solid background in digital asset production, including EDMs and Meta ad creative.
- Commercially driven, always thinking about ROI: understands why an asset exists, who it's targeting, how it will perform (e.g. stopping the scroll on a Meta ad), and how it will convert and retain customers.
- Strong hands-on experience creating Meta paid ads, both static and video, built to convert, at high volume.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, and AI tools like MidJourney.
- Proven experience using AI-powered creative tools and a clear eagerness to adopt fast-developing technologies.
- Solid background in packaging design, including NPD and line extensions.
- Strong hands-on experience with short-form video editing, motion graphics creation, and animated content for social and digital channels.
- Strong understanding of brand storytelling, visual identity, and commercial design.
- Highly organised, with strong systems for managing creative files and assets at volume.
- Comfortable working at high output and pace, typical of an early-stage startup.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Deep knowledge of channel-specific specs and best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Meta, and other platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
